ABOUT ME

MY STORY

My name is Miss Daisy, and I am the eccentric, eclectic, expressionist. I use objective and subjective reality to tell stories through editorial photographic imagery and film that heals and inspires.

Meet Serena Sutherland, affectionately known as Miss Daisy—a multifaceted creative powerhouse who seamlessly blends artistry, entrepreneurship, and mindfulness. Based in Mississauga, ON, Miss Daisy thrives as a model, creative director, yoga teacher, entrepreneur, and multidisciplinary installation artist. She proudly defines herself as an eccentric eclectic expressionist, embodying art in its most unapologetic and expansive forms.

Emerging stronger from the challenges of the pandemic, Miss Daisy channelled her creativity into bold narratives and immersive visual work that captivated audiences. Her portfolio spans self-curated projects, album covers, visualizers, and editorial features, including GMARO Magazine. She has collaborated closely with music artists such as The Honest Guy, Zenesoul, Rachelle Show, and Nyne, contributing creative direction, visual storytelling, and production across multiple projects.

Her work has been exhibited in prominent cultural spaces such as Union Station in Toronto, the World Trade Center in New York, Lisbon NFT Week, and LiteBite Immersive—where she transformed the iconic Lite-Brite toy into a nostalgic, communal art experience. She has also completed large-scale installations in collaboration with Visual Arts Mississauga and VIBE Arts, further solidifying her presence within the contemporary arts and community-engaged art landscape.

Beyond visual art, Miss Daisy is deeply rooted in healing and collective care through yoga and mindfulness. She has facilitated and taught classes, workshops, and creative wellness experiences with organizations and institutions, including Alter Toronto, The Villij, and the University of Toronto’s Hart House. As a yoga teacher, she has also led transformative classes and retreats in collaboration with Red Maat Collective, OnePeopleTO, and spaces such as Lululemon.

In 2020, Miss Daisy officially launched Safe Haven, a community-centred creative wellness initiative dedicated to supporting artists’ mental health, restoration, and sustainable creative practices. Since its inception, Safe Haven has received grant support from Frontlines and has successfully completed the Culture Shift program under Art Starts—strengthening its foundation in equity-driven programming, youth engagement, and community impact.

Serena Sutherland, aka Miss Daisy, is more than an artist—she is a living testament to the power of imagination, care, and collective transformation. Through art, wellness, and community-building, she continues to paint life’s canvas with bold, vibrant strokes rooted in presence and purpose.
